New Intake F.A.Qs

USEFUL INFORMATION – Answers to Frequently asked Questions:


  • Please remember to name your child’s uniform, PE kit and belongings.
  • Please do not allow your child to bring in toys from home, as these can easily get lost or broken, there will be set times for your child to bring things in from home to talk about. 
  • Please remember that there is no parking on school grounds. 
  • We do provide the children with fruit for their morning snack, but if you would like to send something in, we do have a ‘Healthy Snack Policy’, so fresh or dried fruit only please.  A named bottle of water to drink can also be sent in, although the children do      have access to the water fountain throughout the day.
  • If your child is unwell please ring the school to let us know and then write a letter when your child returns to school to be kept on file.
  • If your child is being picked up by someone other than those stated on the  admission form, please write a letter to your class teacher to let them know, as we will not allow them to leave without permission. 
  • Please note that holidays during term time are not authorised.
  • There is an ‘Open Door’ on Thursdays after school where you can come in and look at your child’s work and talk to your child’s teacher about their learning  and progress, which will start once your child starts full time in October. 
  • Please check your child’s book bag daily for letters.
  • Please send in a named pair of wellington boots and a rain jacket which can be left in school. 
  • Please sign up to Parent Mail if you haven’t already done so as this is a great way for us to keep in touch with you.
